Classroom Bot is a Discord bot for managing education on Discord. I made it during fall of 2020 when my school closed and switched to virtual education because of Covid-19. One of my teachers used Discord and I noticed that it was awkward when a question was asked, as no-one knew when to talk. That’s why I made a small bot to enable raising hands and asking questions on Discord.
Originally it was just made for my own class, but I thought I would share it with the world. I posted it on top.gg and it began being used on more servers. As of writing, it’s used on 1145 servers.
As more people began using it, I added more commands and switched to using a database instead of storing everything in memory.
